A full day on Büyükada, the largest of the Princes' Islands, where there is no car traffic and the streets belong to walkers, bicycles and electric island buses.
We meet at 09:00 in front of Cibali Tram Station on the Golden Horn and travel out by boat; the boat tickets are part of the price. On the island a guide takes the group round the main sights, from the old wooden mansions to the viewpoints over the Sea of Marmara, and lunch is served at a restaurant by the water.
The afternoon is yours: walk up the hill, find a quiet corner for a swim in summer, or sit with a tea by the pier until the boat back. Drinks with lunch, tips and anything you buy on the island are paid separately.
